Being one of three Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehab providers in North Dallas, Dr. Winfield’s baseball knowledge coupled with his medical background proves him to be one the best in the country.
Key aspects of the VeloClass are safety, repeatability, and education. We do NOT use weighted ball programs.
In the last 4 classes there have been 4 HS arms over 100mph on their outfield throws. Dozens over 95 on outfield throws. Over 40 HS arms over 90mph off the mound.
140+ participants have landed college offers the season following the off season Veloclass.

37 All State pitchers in 4 years
Position players are welcome - there will be a different evaluation process based on position
Dr. Winfield and his team track injuries and the injury rate is under 1%. In his previous position (Owner/Head of Clinic at ChiroConcepts/PTConcepts) Dr. Winfield and his team of Physical Therapists, athletic trainers, exercise physiologists directly treated thousands of athletes, with an emphasis on elite throwing athletes. Due to the injuries seen on a regular basis he began to get ahead of the situation by coaching and correcting these issues before they resulted in a surgery. Dr. Winfield pitched at Arkansas State University and Sam Houston State University in his college days. He has worked with MLB/NCAA programs to improve performance and decrease injury rates with great success.

This is the most valuable and practical approach to hitting ever taught!
This Program is unlike any Hitting Approach ever designed. Why? Because it is simple and moves towards not having to continually speak to improve. Let me repeat: it is simple and moves toward NOT having to continually speak to improve. While in the Program, the hitters learn to adjust via simple hand gestures… Imagine being a coach or parent that gives simple hand signals so hitters can quickly and correctly adjust from pitch to pitch! No words. Just coaching through hand signals… Dramatic results…
Hello, my name is Steve Hecht. I coached in the Major Leagues for 5 seasons and played professionally for 9 years. Yet, only when I started giving hitting lessons full-time 5 years ago did I fully realize that hitting was being taught incorrectly at every level. During that time, I have had the privilege of working with professional, college, high school and youth players of all skill levels. Still, the one common denominator that remains – each player improves dramatically very quickly…
If you would like to encounter the dramatic results a hitter can experience when taught correctly, then please come and be a part of a movement.
One MLB hitting coach said to me “Steve, if this gets out, it will revolutionize hitting.”
Here is what others are saying and experiencing:
Before my son was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in 2015, I had him work with Steve to improve his swing and efficiency. Steve makes hitting simple, and the results for my son were obvious during his very first session. -Don Wakamatsu- Bench Coach, Kansas City, Royals
When I was in AA Bowie, Steve gave me a simple tip that helped me hit nearly .300 with 22 homeruns and 97 RBI's. It was so simple… -Caleb Joseph- Baltimore Orioles Catcher
Steve has developed an approach that will greatly impact and help any baseball player. I was able to implement his methods into our program, and saw immediate results. -Ed Sprague- 11 Year MLB Veteran
JT VanGelder is the hardest working kid I have ever coached. He was really good for 3 years, hitting an average of .367, but realized he needed to make a change at the plate to separate himself from the other high school hitters. He went to Coach Hecht in December 2014, leading up to his senior season, and ended up having his best year, hitting .611 on the season. He was 1st Team All-State (HS Coaches), 1st Team ALL-State (TSWA), 1st Team All DFW, 1st Team All Denton County, & District 5-A MVP. Coach Hecht helped him take his game to a higher level. -Scott McGarrh- Head Baseball Coach, Liberty HS (Frisco)
